 FAQ

  • Can I add a note to my order?
Abso-tuckin-utely! In your cart, you will have the option to do so just underneath your item list.
  • How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated by the region you live in and method you choose. Please keep in mind that there are no deliveries on Mondays or Sundays and that additional delivery restrictions may apply around holidays; we will inform customers about the dates of delivery restrictions as each holiday approaches.
  • Can I order today and receive the package at a later date?
If you want your package to arrive by the next business day, select Next Day Air. You must place your order by 2pm the day before you want your package to arrive. If using the 2 day shipping option, you must place your order by WEDNESDAY if you want to receive it by FRIDAY, otherwise you will not receive your order until Monday. ***Please keep in mind that there are no deliveries on Mondays or Sundays and that additional delivery restrictions may apply around holidays; we will inform customers about the dates of delivery restrictions as each holiday approaches.
  • How do you package your products?
All Tuckin’ Good products are vacuum-sealed then hand-packed into an environment-friendly, green, insulated padding along with frozen (food-grade) gel packs. Once the padding lid is in place, we seal the cooler with packing tape and place it into a corrugated box to further protect your order during the shipping process. Products should be used, or frozen within 3 days of reception.
  • Does your packaging contain dry ice?
NO, we want our products to stay chilled but not so much that they freeze. We only use food grade gel packs to keep your package cool for up to 48 hours of non-refrigeration. These ice packs are great because they are leak-resistant, made here in New England, and reusable!
  • What shipping method do you use?
We ship all of our packages via UPS Next Day Air. This service means that your package will leave our facility around 4 pm, and arrive at your residence before 8pm the next day. UPS Next Day Air Saver guarantees your package will be delivered by the end of the next business day from when it ships. Delivery times do vary based on location, so check with UPS if your package has not arrived by 8 pm on your selected delivery date. We also provide you with a tracking number so you can check on the status of your package throughout the day.
  • What days do you ship?
We can process and ship packages Monday-Thursday. No packages can be delivered on Sunday or Monday.
  • I won’t be home around the time I expect the package to be delivered. Does this mean I won’t receive my order?
No, we don’t require recipients to sign for their packages to ensure UPS never “holds” a perishable food order you placed. If you or the desired recipient is not home, the UPS driver will simply leave the package at the residence. Keep in mind you are responsible for making sure the recipient of the package (whether it be yourself or another responsible party) is present to open the package upon receipt and to promptly store the items in the refrigerator or freezer. While our packages are meant to sustain UP TO 48 hours of unrefrigerated shipping, we strongly recommend you open and refrigerate the contents of your package as soon as possible, especially in warmer climates/during the warmer months.
  • I just opened my package and the meat looks off-color. Does this mean my items have spoiled?
As long as your items are cool to the touch, the contents of your package are not spoiled. This color change is typical with vacuum-sealed meats because a lack of oxygen will cause the meat to lose or change color. When you open the vacuum-seal packaging and expose the meat to oxygen once again, the meat will regain some of its natural color within 10-15 minutes (a process called blooming).
  • May I freeze the meat once I receive it?
YES! While we think that fresh meat is the best meat, we understand that you may want to save some of your package for future meals. For the best quality, you should use your products within 5-7 days if refrigerating, and 3-4 months if freezing in original packaging. While you can keep the products for longer than this in both the freezer and the refrigerator, adhering to these dates will ensure you get the best quality meat!
  • My meat arrived and it feels warm to the touch. What should I do?
